Baptist Church

GLBC was started some 50 plus years ago in the heart of Powhatan, Virginia on Anderson Highway. Just in 2020 we did a name change to celebrate our new beginning!

Since 2015 we have seen God move in a great way in our midst! Our church is growing and seeing new people just about every Sunday!

We have a well balanced mix of senior adults, children and young families!

At GLBC we have an exciting worship service with a blended mix of songs and we still use hymn books! , At GLBC you will be welcomed a by a very friendly church family! If you are new to Powhatan or just looking for a new church home, we would love to have you!
